What is the surface treatment technology of zirconia ceramics?


1, burning glaze

Glaze is covered on the surface of the ceramic products, colorless or colored vitreous thin layer, is with the mineral raw materials (feldspar, quartz, talc, kaolin, etc.) and materials according to certain proportion coordination (part of the raw material can be made into frit) first after abrasive slurries, in body surface, by a certain temperature calcination. It can increase the mechanical strength, thermal stability and dielectric strength of the products, as well as beautifying utensils, easy to wash, not to be contaminated by dust and so on.

The glaze belongs to the application of traditional ceramic technology to this industrial ceramic. Currently three rings are useful for this process on the ceramic cover plate. As shown in the figure below, the texture decoration of ceramic cover plate is adopted.


2. Radium sculpture (laser)

Here's a quick note: laser actually refers to laser, which means "to expand by stimulated emission of light". The original Chinese name for the laser was "laser" and "laise". And the radium sculpture is laser processing, is surface processing a process, and the screen printing transfer similar, all is on the product printing character or the design and so on, the process is different, the price is different.

The principle of radium sculpture is to use the high intensity focused laser beam emitted by the laser to focus on the focal point, so that the material is oxidized and then processed. The effect of marking is to reveal deep matter through the evaporation of surface material; Or through light can cause the chemical physical changes of surface matter to leak out trace; Or burn off some of the material with light; Or it can burn some of the material through light to show the etched graphics.


3, PVD

PVD refers to the method of forming a metal or compound coating with special properties on the surface of the workpiece in the process of physical or chemical reaction in meteorology. At present, with evaporation and sputtering, the ceramic cover plate is coated with logo or color film.


4. AF treatment

AF treatment is also known as anti-fingerprint coating treatment. The coating is coated on the ceramic surface by means of evaporation. The coating makes the ceramic surface less sensitive to fingerprints and good wear resistance.

Special note is that this process can prevent scratches, increase wear resistance and feel, and do not change the original decorative texture. But this coating life is often not long, after a period of time will lose the utility.


5, drawing

Wire drawing is a process by which the surface of the product is rubbed by means of machining. It has straight lines, streaks, threads, ripples, and sun lines. The following picture is from the sanhuan group, which is the ceramic cover after the decoration of drawing +PVD process.


6, polishing

Polishing is one of the main means of surface treatment of a product, with the aim of obtaining a smooth surface or mirror gloss, and is sometimes used to eliminate gloss (extinction).

There are several kinds of polishing methods: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, electrolytic polishing, ultrasonic polishing, fluid polishing, magnetic abrasive polishing.


7, grinding

Application of grinding in a ceramic plate, generally refers to thinning due to large ceramic material hardness, need to use coating or pressure abrasive particles embedded in the tool, through the relative motion of the certain pressure on machining surface finishing processing (analogy machining).
